Research topics

Theoretical study and modelisation of the impact of solar light on the fate of organic micropollutants in natural environment (mechanisms, kinetic studies, reactivity). Ab initio calculations of excited states (CASSCF, TD-DFT), conical intersections, kinetic constants. Fondamental research : accurate calculation of coupled hindered rotors (kinetic and potential couplings).

1996 : PhD in theoretical chemistry, Detroit, Mi, USA. (molecular dynamics, theoretical kinetics)
1997 : Post-doc in ENS Lyon, France. (tribology)
1998-2002 : Teaching and research position at SREP), Université de Provence, Marseille. (free radicals, living polymerisation)
